Authorisation

On behalf of the Ministry for electronic communications, the Agency also receives and processes applications for authorisations to operate frequencies assigned to satellite systems.

The application file

A authorisation application consists of the information listed in the Order of 11 August 2006. This information must be sent in writing and electronically to the ANFR.

Ongoing application processing

Fees

In accordance with article R.52-3-4 of the French Postal and Electronic Communications Code and the Order of 11 August 2006 (see Annex), applicants must pay a deposit of 20,000 euros. On receipt of the authorisation application, the ANFR issues a collection order for the deposit on this fee. Article L.97-2 stipulates that the issue of authorisations is subject to payment of this fee.
