The ANFR manages the frequency assignment applications for satellite systems submitted by private applicants.
The application file
An assignment application consists of the relevant information listed in Appendix 4 of the Radio Regulations. This information must be entered electronically using the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau's SpaceCap software, validated using the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau's SpaceVal software, and then sent to the ANFR.
Fees
In accordance with article R.52-3-17 of the French Postal and Electronic Communications Code, applicants must pay a deposit, the amount of which is calculated in accordance with the Order of 11 August 2006 (see Appendix). This must be completed at the latest when the application is submitted so as not to delay the processing of the file.
