The World Radiocommunication Conference ( WRC ) took place from 28 October to 22 November 2019 in Charm-el-Sheikh (Egypt).
The agenda for WRC-19 was set by WRC-15. It covers a wide range of applications and economic sectors: electronic communications (5G, WiFi, Internet of Things), transport (maritime, air, rail), scientific applications, the space sector and high-altitude platforms (HAPS).
Some items on the agenda
Item 1.1: Assignment of all or part of the 50-54 MHz band to the amateur service in Region 1
Item 1.2: Limitation of earth station transmitting power in the 399.9-400.05 MHz and 401-403 MHz bands
Item 1.3: Securing the regulatory status of beacon control links for data collection systems in the 460-470MHz band
